Cheryl A. Sheldon, 73, of Smethport, passed away, Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born in St. Albans, VT, on September 24, 1948, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Tamburin) Karnes
She was a 1966 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
Cheryl received the "Employee of The Year" award during her tenure at Bradford Regional Medical Center where she worked primarily as the Discharge Planner and also as a Unit Secretary, for 31 years.
Surviving are a daughter Kerrie L. Johnson, of Smethport, two grandsons, Zachary Johnson and Eric Johnson, of Smethport, sister, Carol (Jerry) Bollinger, of Mapleton Depot and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Alan K. Sheldon, Jr. sister, Joyce Naughton, and brother, John Karnes, Jr.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 11:00 am till
Noon, at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc, South Avenue, where at Noon funeral services will be held with Pastor Max Miller, officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
