Randy E. Ayers

Randy E. Ayers, 60, of Bradford, passed away, Thursday, December 9, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by family.

Born in Bradford, on June 1, 1961, a son of the late Lewis Ayers and Joan (Wilbur) Firkel.

He was a 1979 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

On July 6, 1979, he enlisted in the United States Army and served until he was honorably discharged on July 5, 1982.

Randy last worked in Quality Control at Lake Erie Tobacco Company, He also worked for the Penn Hills club from 2004-2015

He enjoyed war movies, trains, NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr., the Baltimore Ravens, and working on cars. One of his proud accomplishments was the restoration of a 1972 Charger SS. He was a member of the VFW post 212

Surviving are a daughter, Amy (Caleb Schermerhorn) Schermerhorn-Ayers, of Bradford, son, Brad (Jesyca Musolino) Ayers, of Bradford, two brothers, Lloyd Ayers, of Rixford, and Kevin Ayers, of Dallas, TX, three grandchildren, Mavis Ayers, Charlotte Ayers, and Jackson Shugars, and two nieces and one aunt, Ellen Hays, of Olean, NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ricky Ayers and stepfather Thomas Firkel.

Funeral services will be private and held by the family.
