Jack L. Miller

Jack L "JL" Miller, 75, of 96 Harrisburg Run, Bradford, passed away on March 6, 2022, at his residence, surround by his loving family.

Born July 15, 1946, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Herbert L. and Theda (Hoovey) Miller.

Jack was a 1964 graduate of Bradford High School.

On January 16, 1966, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in Vietnam, he was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was honorably discharged on November 17, 1969.

On July, 15 1989, in Kane, he married Marie (Knight) Miller who survives.

Jack worked at Zippo, Butter Krust Bakery, Speer Resistor, and Dresser before retirement after 38 years at Dressers.

He attended Asbury United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife Marie of 32 years, are two daughters, Shella Bailey, of Bradford, Agnes Reynolds, of Jackson MI, one son, Harold Reynolds, of Eldred, one sister, Candace (Vince) Fergason, of Stockton, CA, three grandchildren, Raven Zandy, Liam Chapman, Brianna Bailey, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Douglas Miller, Roger Miller, and Ralph Miller.

Family will receive friends on Thursday March 10, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main, at 1:00 pm funeral services will be held Rev. Fred Zickefoose, Pastor of the Bradford Area Parish, officiating. Immediately after the service members of the United States Navy and the Honor Guard from the American Legion Post 108 of Bradford, will accord Military Honors in McKean Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral arraignments are under the direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the SPCA, American Cancer Society, or Autism Awareness.
