Margaret P. Bicek

Margaret  P. Bicek, 88, formerly of 458 Columbia Hill Road, Smethport, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 10, 1934 at her parents home on Columbia Hill Road, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Jessie M. (Pattison) Greek. She was a 1952 graduate of Otto Eldred High School.

On November 1, 1952, in St. Bernard Church, she married Milo S. Bicek who preceded her in death on December 19, 2011.

She enjoyed playing cards, quilting, knitting, needlepoint, crocheting, wood working, and assembling puzzles.

Surviving are two sons, Milo J. "Mike" Bicek, of Bradford and Steven P. (Diane) Bicek of Prince George, VA, eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, June Foster, Joan Salada, Doris Greek, and Beatrice Bailey, three brothers, Harry Greek, Eugene Greek, and Kenneth Greek.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. East Main Street where funeral and committal services will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society, Bradford Ecumenical Home or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105-1942
