Rebecca L. Becky Davis

Rebecca L. “Becky” Davis, 64, of 69 Southgate, Bradford, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 16, 1957, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Thomas S. and Beverly Ann (Hayes) Skaggs, Jr. She was a 1975 graduate of Bradford High School.

On July 23, 1977, in Bradford, she married Donald W. Davis Jr., who passed away June 6, 2009.

Becky was employed at Zippo Manufacturing Company for 30 years before retiring in 2021.

Becky enjoyed bowling in the Thursday Ladies Bowling League and in the Sunday Mixed Doubles League for several years, and she loved walking in the great outdoors. Most of all, she was a person who dedicated her life to helping others. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her grandchildren and attending their various events.

Surviving are her children, daughter, Amanda Davis, of Bradford and two sons, Mark (Mandi) Davis, of Bradford, and Thomas (GiGi) Davis, of York; her seven grandchildren: Brynlee Reynolds, Austen Davis, Maranda Davis, Andrew Kline, Caleb Davis, Olivia Davis and Lily Davis; her two sisters, Terri Skaggs, of Bradford, and Peggy Calcagno, of Brockway; two brothers, Robert (Cindy) Skaggs, of Bradford, and Timothy Skaggs, of WY; several nieces and nephews; and her companion, of five years, Greg Mager.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don, of 32 years, and one grandson, Aiden Davis.

Family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday March 13, 2022, from 2 pm to 4 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., and again on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 10 am to 11 am, at which time funeral services will be held with Rev. Jay Tennies, Pastor of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
