Megan E. Hogand

Megan Elizabeth Hogand, 29, of 71 Garlock Hollow, Bradford, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at her residence, after a lifelong battle with illnesses. 

Born August 15, 1992, in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of Ronald J. and Jenny Lynn (Honhart) Hogand, who survive.

Megan was a 2010 graduate of Bradford High School, and she received her phlebotomy degree from BOCES in Olean and her LPN from Jamestown Community College.

She was employed at ACL at Bradford Regional Medical Center for five years.

Megan had attended the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, and was a social member of the Marche Club, the Eagles Club. She enjoyed crafting, and receiving flowers, especially lilies and sunflowers. She was a "dog mom" to her pups Fancy and Phoebe.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her grandmother, Debra Honhart, and Rosemary Gilling, two sisters, Cynthia Smith, and Hannah (Hayden Kornacki) Hogand, all of Bradford, three nieces and nephews, Nicolas (Sammy) Franco, Nathan Franco, and Evan Franco, and three grand nieces and nephews, Sawyer, Bailey and Dawson, and many aunts uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Fay Hogand, and Donald L. Honhart

Friends will be received on Sunday April 24, 2022, from 2 pm 3 pm at the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, at 3:00 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Jay Tennies, pastor officiating.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the American Diabetes Association PO BOX 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312 or the SPCA.
