Betty Lee Himes, 84, of Bridge Street, Mount Jewett, passed away, Friday, April 15, 2022, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born July 14, 1937, in Brookville, she was a daughter of the late Cora Arlene (Case) and James Edward Himes.

Betty was employed at Corning Glass for over 30 years. 

She enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. 

Surviving are two daughters, Roxanne (Jim) Panigetti, of Bradford, and Christine A. Hartle, of Mt. Jewett, one sister, Mary Lou Washabaugh, of Tucscon AZ, step son, Dan Johnson, step daughter, Cheryl Fitzpatrick, five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jackie DeHaven, two sisters, Joanne Himes Anstett, and Helen McDiarmid, two brothers, Bill and Ed Himes, and step son Chris Johnson.

Services are private at the convenience of family. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
