James P. Bliss, 66, of Kennedy Street, Bradford, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
James was born in Philadelphia, on April 15, 1956, he was a son of the late Patricia A. (Nickerson) Ames and Howard C. Bliss. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School.
On July 4, 2012 in Bradford he married Pamela Jones who survives.
Jim had been employed at the Baseball bat factory in Galeton, he was a mechanic for many years. He also worked as a plumber and retired from Bradford Forest Products.
Surviving in addition to Pamela, are two sons, Harvey H. Rose, and David Rose, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, one sister, Ruby Treat, four half-sisters, Synita Nagy, Elinda Ybarra, Tonya Buchanan, and Vena Seeley, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Joseph Bliss, one daughter, Christina Yonkin, and one son, Howard Bliss
Services are private at the convenience of family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. in Bradford.
