Sandy L. Williams

Sandy L. Williams, 69, a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, of 1113 N. Main Street, Limestone NY, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Born, July 7, 1953, in Olean NY, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Wanda (Ishman) Eidson.

On September 13, 1975, in St. Patrick Church, she married Mike Williams, who survives.

Sandy was a 1971 graduate of Limestone High School, and a 1972 graduate of Olean Business Institute. She had been employed at Zippo Manufacturing Company for 44 years, retiring in 2015, she also drove school bus for Limestone High School in the evening for sporting events.

She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department, a Girl Scout Leader, Officer of the Bradford Women's Bowling League. a member of the Kinzua Quilters, and a member of the Limestone American Legion.

Sandy loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She had many hobbies to occupy her time, including camping, bonfires. fishing, quilting, puzzles, cooking, and of course the many hours she spent mowing her yard, swimming in the pool, and putting up decorations in her yard. Sandy would want to be remembered for all the smiles she shared with her family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her husband Mike, of 46 years, is one daughter, Susan (Dave) Conner of Bradford, one sister, Deb Linville, of Harrington, DE, one brother, Leonard "Len" (Marie) Eidson of Limestone, one granddaughter, Brianna Conner, four grandsons, Gage Williams, Austin Williams, Keith Silluzio, and Jaeden Littleton, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved son, Michael Gary Williams who died September 8, 2013.

Friends are invited to attended a Celebration of Life at 1:00pm on Saturday August 13, 2022, in the Limestone Community Center with Rev. John Jacquel, Pastor of St. Bernard Church. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery next to her beloved son.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
