Alice E. Vecellio

Alice E. Vecellio, 98, formerly of the Emery Towers, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at Sena Kean Manor in Smethport.

Born June 29, 1924, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Nora (Grennon) Shine. She was a graduate of Bradford High School.

In 1943 she married Robert R. Hotelling Sr., who died August 19, 1989. In 1990 in the First Church of the Nazarene she married Leno M. Vecellio who died September 28, 2009.

Alice had been employed at Zippo Manufacturing, in the cafeteria at AirCo Speer, but most of all she loved being a homemaker. 

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, and the Greater Bradford Senior Center. 

Surviving is one daughter, Brenda Weaver, of Bradford, two sons, Robert (Rose) Hotelling Jr., and Kerry (Lisa) Cook, of Bradford, six grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one daughter, Nancy Williams, one grandson Tracy Holly, five sisters, and two brothers.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday August 10, 2022, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave. in Bradford, followed by funeral services 1 PM with Rev. Joshua Haney, Pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene Church, officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, or the Senior Center.
