Debra Kay Oxley

Debra Kay Oxley, 68, of Bradford, peacefully passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022, at the Olean General Hospital, surrounded by her family, after a brief illness.

Born on December 11, 1953, in San Francisco, CA, she was a daughter of the late Farragon Thomas and Patricia J. (Ransom) Lockett.

Debbie was raised in the San Francisco area and attended Serramonte High School until her family moved to Bradford in 1970. She graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1972.

Debbie was a very dedicated secretary for many years. She formerly worked at Dresser Manufacturing, Corning Glass, McCourt Label, Pecora Duke & Babcock Law Offices, and she retired from PA CareerLink Center.

Debbie was also a babysitter for many local children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, computer games, Nintendo, and taking care of her pets, Milo, Brandy, Abby and Muffett.

Surviving are two sons, Keith T. (Kathy Obermeyer) Mahon and Nicholas C. Oxley, her one sister, Barbara J. Lockett, all of Bradford, and her former husband Jeff Oxley, of Bradford.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main Street, from 10 am to 11 am. At 11 am funeral services will be held with Pastor Zoe Hatcher of Open Arms Church officiating. A private entombment will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
