George Santora

George Santora, 74, of Bradford, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Bradford Ecumenical Home. 

Born October 26, 1948, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Florence (Chimento) Santora.

George was a 1967 graduate of Bradford High School. After graduating and working construction in Florida. He returned to Bradford and worked at Evergreen Elm, later Cummins Construction and S.M. Gleason Construction. He retired after 25 years. 

George was a member of St. Bernard Church, he sang in St. Bernard Resurrection Choir. 

He was a member of the Local 5 Labor Union in Pittsburgh Pittsburgh, and enjoyed going to the YMCA.
 
Surviving is one  sister, Hazel "Toby" Stahlman, of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.

George was preceded in death by his mother, two sisters, Michelle K. "Mickey" Santora, and Rose "Sis" Santora and one brother, Frank R. Santora.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 1:00 PM in St. Bernard Church with Fr. Jim Gutting, as Celebrant. Burial will be with his mother in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
