Patricia A. Fisher

Patricia A. Fisher, 70, of Derrick City, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023, at the Olean General Hospital.

Born July 23, 1952, in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Albert Fisher and  Leona (Marrone) Fisher Walter.

She was a 1970 graduate of Bradford Area High School and a 1974 graduate of Ashland College in Ashland, OH, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education.

Patti worked as a substitute teacher for the Bradford Area School District and later as a health & physical education teacher at Cameron County School District for over 30 years.

She enjoyed playing for the Golden Girls in the women's softball league, playing pickleball, and golfing in the Smethport Country Club women's golf league.  She enjoyed restoring antique furniture, and she had a talent for building and crafting furniture. She collected cars, from Corvettes and Camaros.

Surviving are eleven "Marrone Cousins", including Ron Pertruzzi, Mary Murawski, Margaret DiTanna, Mary Kay Colf, John Oszustowicz, Kristan Arrona, Len Oszustowicz, Charlene Ewald, Raymond Marrone, James Marrone, and Marty Marrone, Also surviving are Patti's special friends, Barb and Bill Black, Janele Faucher, Linda Monti, Diane Rea, Claudia Quinn, and Lori and Bob Au and family.

Friends will be received on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, where at 11:00 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be held with Rev. John Jacquel, as celebrant officiating. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
