Gloria D. Hopkins

Gloria D. Hopkins, 94, of Dennis Lane, Bradford, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023, at her home.

Born July 31, 1928, in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Dorothy (Bellamy) Wagner Sr.

She was a 1946 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

On April 9, 1948, in Allegany, NY, she married Victor C. Hopkins who preceded her in death on December 13, 2016.

Gloria was employed for many years at Zippo Manufacturing Co. in the customer service department.  She had also been a volunteer at the American Cancer Society. 

She was a member of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church and the Faithful Sunday School Class of that church.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol (the late James) Kozel, of Waterford, MI, and Judy G. Hopkins, of Bradford, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 68 years, Victor, one sister, Shirley Wagner, one brother, William E. Wagner Jr., and one niece, Neida Wagner.

Gloria was a beloved mother and friend who supported all her loved ones with strength and encouragement.  She will be deeply missed.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, in the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am with Rev. Jay Tennies, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, 44 Kennedy St., Bradford, PA 16701 or the Wagner Cemetery fund, c/o Sharon Long, 38 Gregory Ave., Bradford, PA 16701.
