Uncle Bob was one of a kind. When he visited family in NC, he was always smiling and offering his sage advice, that only an uncle could. The first thing he always did minutes after arrival? A full military-style mission to secure some famous Kepley''s BBQ for the family. He loved his BBQ. The many warm summer nights spent on Mammaw’s carport created fond memories of a simple happy time. He and my aunt Linda made our summers great with plenty of laughter and fun things to do when in town. I''ll remember him for showing love and compassion to those he would meet. His family and community were priorities. He inspired the best in us. He will be missed.
