Evelyn Marie Ivancic, 97, of 113 Spring Drive, Lewis Run, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born October 31, 1925, in Johnstown, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Harbaugh) Probert.
On March 2, 1946, she married Andrew Ivancic who preceded her in death on November 4, 2015.
Evelyn worked as an interior designer for furniture stores in Johnstown and Orlando, FL. She and her husband resided in Orlando, FL, for over 25 years, returning to Pennsylvania in 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Drew Ivancic, of Bradford, and Mark R. (Rebecca) Ivancic, of Marshburg, five grandchildren, Ian Ivancic, of Phoenix, AZ, Zara (Mark) Shick, of Maggie Valley, NC, Brian (Jill) Nelson, of Ferndale MI, Katy (Todd Slater) Nelson, of Cincinnati, OH, and Colby (Reecie) Nelson, of Reston, VA, and five great grandchildren, Taryn Shick, Hailey Shick, Nora Shick, Brooke Slater, and Josefina Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Andrew of nearly 70 years, one sister, Gloria "Dukie" Niessner, and an infant brother, Thomas.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering, Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Boulevard Grill in Johnstown. Entombment will be in Richland Cemetery in Johnstown.
