Nolan A. Wymer Sr.

Nolan A. Wymer, Sr., 83, of 4117 Phillips Road, Hinsdale, NY, formerly of Eldred, passed away, Thursday April 13, 2023, at Olean General Hospital, with his wife by his side.

Born April 26, 1939, in Olean, NY, he was a son of the late Arniel and Marion (Widrig) Wymer.

Nolan attended schools in Knapp Creek and Allegany High School.

On November 2, 1958, in Buffalo, NY, he married Judith D. (Meyers) Wymer, who preceded him in death on June 21, 2011. On July 3, 2015, in Hinsdale, NY, he married Mildred (Mascho) Wymer, who survives.

Nolan worked at Airco Speer, then Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel. Most of his career he worked for Asphland Tree Service, then as a Foreman at Hazlett Tree Service. He retired in 2001.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Mickey, are three daughters, Laurie (Doug) Strang, Becky Wymer, and Julie (Darren) Barnett, two sons, Nolan (Nicole) Wymer, and Bruce (Cindi) Wymer, three step daughters, Lillian Mascho, Leola Miller, and Loura Milks, four step sons, Ted Mascho, James Mascho, William Mascho, and Andrew Mascho, 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, one sister, Nancy  Wymer, two brothers, Timothy (Sue) Wymer and Terry (Bobbi) Wymer and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Judy, and an infant daughter.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Hilltop Baptist Church, where a memorial service will be held at Noon with Rev. Max Simms, Pastor, officiating.  

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
