Forrest L. Seeley Jr.

Forrest L. Seeley, Jr., 67, of 582 Parkside Drive, Limestone, NY, passed away, Monday, June 19, 2023, at Olean General Hospital.

Born on July 24, 1955, in Olean NY, a son of the late Forrest L. Seeley, Sr and Emogene (Johnson) Seeley-Wesmiller.

He attended Limestone Free Union and graduated in 1974.

On March 8, 1974, he enlisted in the United States Marines Corp. He served until March 11, 1976, when he was honorably discharged.

After the service he worked at Haliburton, Dresser Rand and for many years as an Installer for Direct TV.

On June 18, 2005, in his Parkside Drive home, he married Linda (Miller) Seeley.

Forrest was a member of the American Legion Post 1560 in Limestone and the Limestone Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and drinking Bud Light. His greatest joy came from being with his daughters and family.

Surviving is his wife Linda of 18 years, two daughters, Tracy Seeley and Stephanie (Chris) Barrile, all of Bradford, four stepdaughters, Bridget Ehman, Mellissa Autieri, Laurie Trojan, and Kristen Roberts, one stepson, Richard S Trojan and Steven Trojan, two sisters Jacqui Pritchard, and Marge Feely, one brother, David Seeley, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one stepson, Steven Trojan.

Family will receive friends on Saturday July 1, 2023, at 10:00 am at the American Legion Post 1560 in Limestone. At 10:30 am Full Military Honors will be accorded by members of the United States Marine Corp, and the Honor Guard of the American Legion Post 1560.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
