Melissa S. Kemick, 41, of 42 North Kendall Avenue, Bradford, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023, at her residence.
Born on January 14, 1982, in Bradford, she was the daughter of Thomas Rodgers and Ellen (Countryman) (Dave Reed) Rodgers, who survive.
She was a 2001 graduate of Bradford High School, and earned an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, and Human Services from Jamestown Community College in 2018. She was also a certified addiction councilor.
Melissa was employed at the Salamanca Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
She enjoyed music, watching TV shows, going on walks, her animals, and crafting, most of all she loved he grand kids and spending time with them.
Surviving is her father, Thomas Rodgers, her mother, Ellen (Dave Reed) Rodgers, two daughters, Hannah (Aaron Bobenrieth) Schutz, and Bianca (Jeremy Bowen Jr.) Schutz, one son, James M. Kemick, all of Bradford, three brothers, Ed Rodgers, Thomas Rodgers, and Scott Rodgers, six grandchildren, Delilah, Amelia, Ivy, Hudson, Brantley, and Asher, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kemick, who passed away, November 9, 2021.
Family will receive friends, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Avenue, at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Bill Waterman, Pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church, officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
