Marie M. Barnard, of 53 W. Corydon Street, Bradford, passed away, peacefully, Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Born on January 28, 1954, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Robert O. and Ellen "Mary" (Hopkins) Barnard. She was a 1972 graduate of Bradford High School.

Marie worked as a Residential Program Worker at Evergreen Elm, and prior to that at Woolworth Department Store for 20 years.

Marie participated in Girl Scouts for 15 years 

Surviving is one sister, Linda (Bill) Weidow, of Bradford, four nieces, Mary Bennett, Bonnie Bennett, Mindi Weidow, and Casey (Terry) McPherson, one nephew, Robert Bennett, six great nieces and nephews, and five great nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Edna Simons.

Friends will be received on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am am in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1935 Windfall Road, Olean NY, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, in Canisteo NY.
