Victoria G. Johnson

Victoria G. "Vickie" Johnson, 73, of 90 Main Street, Lewis Run, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, peacefully, at her residence. She was a loving aunt to many.

Born May 23, 1950, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Phillip C. and Gertrude A. (Miller) Freeman. She was a 1969 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

On June 5, 1971, in First Free Methodist Church, she married James F. "Jet" Johnson, who preceded her in death on January 2, 2008. 

Vickie worked at KOA and later was Mrs Graff's housekeeper for several years. 

She was a member of the Lewis Run Volunteer Fire Department where she held the positions of Vice President, President, board member, and kitchen coordinator.  For many years Vickie was the Secretary and Caretaker for the Degolia Cemetery Association, and also served as Judge of Elections for Lewis Run. She was a member of the Bradford Alliance Church and a 37 year member and current President of T.O.P.S Club.

Surviving is one sister, Debbie (Chuck) McAndrew, of Rochester, NY, nieces and nephews, Jean (Jim) Keltz, Tracy (Allen) Kerr, Mary Ann Gilmore, Devin Kerr, Olivia Keltz, Emily Keltz, and one uncle Charles Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim of 36 years, and one sister, Phyllis Jean Raught.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the Lewis Run Volunteer Fire Department, 46 Main Street, Lewis Run, followed by funeral services at 2:30 PM with Rev. Rob E. Jeffrey, Pastor of the Bradford Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will be in Degolia Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Lewis Run Volunteer Fire Department.
