Shirley D. Presher

Shirley D. Presher, 91, of 11 Sullivan Road, Bradford, went to be with her Lord, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, surrounded by her family at her residence.

Born February 14, 1932 in Carrollton NY, she was daughter of the late Clifford and Vera (Haigh) Spry. She attended school in Killbuck Salamanca, and Bradford.

On May 3, 1986, in Palatka FL, she married Willard J. "Willie" Presher Sr., who survives.

Shirley worked as a waitress at Johnson's Restaurant for 25 years, and formerly worked at the Bradford Era, and Yum Yum's Ice Cream Stand.

She was a 69 year member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and prepared funeral dinners.

Surviving is her husband Willie, of 37 years, one daughter, Cathy (Robert) Foltz, of Bradford, two sons, Clifford (Debbie) Anthony, of Bradford, and Tim Anthony, of Palatka FL, one son-in-law, Dan Slater, seven stepchildren, Hector, Benjamin, Willard "Winkie", Ethel "Angie", Patricia, Jesse, and Mary, 82 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including, Helen Bush, Kim Rye, Tammy Foor, Randy Berlin, Jimmy Saulsgiver, and Roger Bush.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Henry Ray Anthony of 30 years, two daughters, Marlene Aiken, and Bonnie Slater, two sisters, Jenny L. Thomas, and one infant sister, one brother, Clifford "Honey Boy" Spry, two grandsons, Jonathon Knight, and Shawn Cross, and two great grandchildren, Ava Schlopy, and Joshua Eliason.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday October 18, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm in the Grace Lutheran Church, at 2:30 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. William Waterman, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
