William H. Glendinning

William Harvey Glendinning, 70, of Bradford, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 21, 1953, in Olean, NY, he was a son of the late Johanna (Metcalf) Walsh.

Bill was a 1971 graduate of Olean High School.

On September 12, 1992, in the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, he married Jayne (Callahan) Glendinning who survives.

Bill worked for Olean Wholesale, Raab Supply, B & B Electric, Hull Electric, and Rexel, prior to retiring.

He loved the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, and St. Bonaventure Basketball. He enjoyed rides on his motorcycle and was an accomplished self-taught musician and singer. Bill was a devoted pet lover, especially his dog Miley and countless number of cats.

Surviving in addition to his wife Jayne of 31 years, is one son, Jonathan Glendinning, of Cleveland OH, one sister, Debbie Ryan, of Mechanicsburg, two brothers, Rick (Chanda) Glendinning, of Humphrey, NY and Dan Glendinning, of Niagara Falls, NY, and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue, where at 1:00 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Jay Tennies, Pastor of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
