Victor A. Wentworth

Victor A. "Vic" Wentworth, 91, of 800 West Washington Street, Bradford, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. 

Born on May 31, 1932, in Duke Center, he was a son of the late Glenn and Vivian (Barnes) Wentworth.

Vic graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1952. On January 5, 1953, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged January 4, 1955.

Vic worked many years as a food representative for several food service companies in the western New York and western Pennsylvania area.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Dorothy Wentworth, of 67 years, are three daughters, GayLynn Wentworth, of Bradford, Lee (Mark) Yale, of Anchor Point, AK, Renee (Steve) Barrett, of Duke Center, three grandchildren, Devon Wentworth, Leslie Husted, and Megan (Bob) Amoroso, four great grandchildren, Caleb Harris, Lilliana Husted, Adalynn Husted, and Wyatt Husted, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Jane Swackhamer, one brother, Benjamin O. Wentworth, and one nephew, James Swackhamer, Jr.

At the family’s request there will be no public services.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
