Dear Frank and Kathy. I’ll miss my lifelong friend more than you’ll ever know. He was the kindest, gentlest man I’ve ever known. He helped Patsy and I in so many ways. He led us on countless painting journeys that we never would have accomplished without him. He taught us the “secret” recipe for gnocchi. He even shared his chestnut harvest with Patsy. He told us that visiting us was like watching Meet the Millers. Tom & Patsy Arrowsmith

Tubby was and will always be the Gentleman that you wanted to be near. He had a heart of gold and generous to a fault He not only embodied his Catholic Faith but truly lived it out on a daily basis. At the moment of his passing Jesus said to him Be at peace Tubby for you work on earth is done and you have done it well. Tubby thank you for all that you have done for me and the parish. Fr. Tubby was a very dear friend of ours. We were very shocked and saddened to hear of his passing! David grew up with him, so has 70+ years of memories collected that include Tubby. Our children and grandchildren have attended many of his fun Easter and Christmas parties at the Italian Club. That was where their first memories of sitting on the Easter Bunny’s and Santa’s laps began! Tubby will be missed by many….he had a big heart and was very kind to all! RIP, our friend! We love you!
