Kim E. Proper

Kim E. Proper, 65, of Onofrio Street, Bradford, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Roswell Park, in Buffalo, NY

Born November 16, 1958, in Meadville, she was a daughter of the late Wayne Hoffman, and Harriette (Coon) Hoffman, who survives in Meadville.

Kim was a 1976 graduate of Meadville Area High School, and she was a 1977 graduate of Southeastern Academy, in Orlando, FL.

On October 7, 1978, in the Emmanuel Church of Christ in Meadville, she married Frederick V. Proper who survives.

Kim was employed as a Senior Bank Teller at Northwest Savings Bank in Bradford for over 10 years. She was formerly employed at National City, K-Mart, Eckard Pharmacy and Emery Travel.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and Zonta Club. 

Surviving in addition to her mother Harriette, and her husband Fred, of 45 years, is one daughter, Yvonne (Leslie) Proper, of Bradford, two exchange daughters, Jenny and Micheai, three brothers, Kenneth (Kimmy) Hoffman, of Meadville, Kevin (Pam) Hoffman, of FL, and Kurt (Jill) Hoffman, of Conastoga, her grand dog, Hank Edward Williams, and several nieces and nephews. 
 
Family will receive friends on Friday, from 4 pm to 6 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Ave., and again on Saturday from 10 am to 11 am in the First Presbyterian Church, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am with Rev. Rob Klouw, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden at the Church. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Roswell Park Foundation, Zonta Club of Bradford, the First Presbyterian Church, or the charity of the donors choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
