All Condolences -

We were saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend, neighbor and sister in Christ, Mary Lou Washabaugh. Meeting her for the first time after plowing out her driveway in the aftermath of her husband’s passing we had no way of knowing how much of a blessing and a part of our lives she would be. I shared the same birthday with her and once when we were both to have a colonoscopy she remarked we should have had them schedule us together for the procedures. Many events transpired in our time together and the more time we spent with her the more we felt we had another family member. Although we lost track of her after she moved from Canada Hollow we tried to keep up with her even though her phone message box was full and we our efforts to contact her through the phone numbers she had given us from Arizona, to Florida, even here in Pennsylvania proved fruitless. We wish we could have visited with her in Smethport but we just didn’t know where she was. She will be missed. We have spent the last couple of days reminiscing of our escapades together. Our trips to the airport in Buffalo, shopping trips, meals together, church attendance and fellowship have had us laughing and somber by turns. We look forward to catching up with her as we spend eternity together praising our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
