Thomas M. Rodgers

Thomas M. Rodgers, 74, of Bradford, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, peacefully at his residence.

Born March 19, 1949, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Robert C. and Ruth E. (Nick) Rodgers Sr.

He was a 1967 graduate of Bradford High School, and a graduate of Paul Smith College in Lake Placid, with a degree in Forestry.

Tom worked at Dresser Manufacturing for 43 years as a machinist, he also was the head chef at Roma Villa Restaurant.

Tom loved to hunt and play poker with his family.

Surviving are three sons, Ed (Bea) Rodgers, Scott Rodgers, and Tommy Rodgers, all of Bradford, five sisters, Linda (the late Donald "Mick") Kemick, Elizabeth (the late Rick) Woodward, Teresa (Bob) Costello, Jeannie (Ken) Park, Kathy (Leshia) Rodgers, three brothers, David (the late Karen) Rodgers, Michael "Mickey" Rodgers, Mark (fiancé Cindy) Rodgers, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Melissa Kemick, and two brothers, Robert Rodgers, Jr., and Daniel L. Rodgers.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to Noon on Saturday January 27, 2024, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes inc., 33 South Ave. followed by funeral services at noon with Fr. Jim Gutting of St. Bernard Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to American Cancer Society.
