Harry A. Carl

Harry A. "Bucky" Carl, 84, of Gifford, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2002, at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Harry was born in Wilcox, on July 10, 1917, he was a a son of the late Thomas and Margaret Maude (Bitters) Carl. He attended schools in Mt. Jewett.

On October 26, 1940 in Maryland, he married Celesta  A. (Bundy) Carl. who died November 11, 2000.

Harry served in the United States Army during WW II. 

Bucky was employed as a foreman at Penzoil Company, and formerly he had worked for Hugh Grant and South Penn. 

He was a member of the McKean Beagle Club, the Keating Township Sportsman Club, The Fireside Pumper Association, and he was a Deputy Game Warden for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. 

Surviving is one daughter, Carolyn Carl, of Gifford, and one son, Tracy (Doreen) Carl, of Eldred,

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters and five brothers.

Friends are invited to call 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, January 27, 2002, at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., where funeral and committal Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, with Rev. Mark Hollis, pastor of the Bradford Alliance Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
