Gloria J. Vecellio

Gloria J. Vecellio, 87, of W. Irvine Street, Lewis Run, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Friday, March 8, 2024, at her residence. 

Born August 6, 1936, in Crosby, she was a daughter of the late Albin and Ida (Frigo) Faes. She attended school in Crosby and graduated from Smethport High School.

On August 4, 1956 in Smethport, she married Clayton V. Vecellio, who survives. 

Gloria was employed at Allegheny Bradford Corporation. 

She was a former member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, and St. Francis Church. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, painting and coloring. 

Surviving in addition to her husband Clayton of 67 years are two sons, Brian Vecellio, of Custer City, and Bradley Vecellio, of Bradford, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother, Richard Faes, of Jasper GA, and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Bruce E. Vecellio, who passed away, October 30, 2009, and one brother, Frank Faes.

Private services will be held at the convenience of family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.
