Troy T. Coppella

Troy T. Coppella, 56, of West Washington Street, Bradford, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at UPMC Shadyside, with his family by his side.

Born May 9,1967, in Saint Marys, he was a son of the late Thomas L. Coppella and the late Margaret Ann Pistner.

He was a 1985 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

On October 3, 1992, he married Christa M. (Lucco) Coppella who survives.

Troy began working after graduating from high school for his father at Coppella and Associates. He continued to operate the business after his father retired, and was currently working right up until his death. In 1998 he joined the Bradford City Water Authority starting as the staff accountant and later became the billing manager/controller.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching his children excel in sports, riding his motorcycle, and playing ball with his dogs Hercules and Xena.

Surviving in addition to his wife Christa of 32 years, are two daughters, Victoria Coppella, of Bradford and Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Hammer, of Sunman, IN, one son, Alex Coppella, of Bradford, two brothers, Christopher (Cindy) Coppella, of Bradford, and Trevor (Carol) Coppella, of Bradford, one grandchild, Jonah Hammer, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one niece Brooke Coppella.

Family will receive friends on Thursday April 4, 2024, from 4 to 6pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue, Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:00 am in the St. Francis Church, with Fr. Jim Gutting Senior Associate, as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Andy Pingie Memorial Scholarship or St. Bernards Church, or a charity of the donor's choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
