Thomas A. Perry

Thomas  A. Perry, 82, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, of 314 Seaward Avenue, Bradford, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at The Pavilion @ BRMC. 

Born on March 3, 1942, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Roy C. and Ruth (Miller) and Perry. He was a 1961 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

On June 1, 1974, in the First Presbyterian Church, he married Deborah L. (Abbott) Perry who survives.

Tom drove truck for E.W. Bissett, Dunlop Tire, Kendall-Witco, Walmart, and after he retired he drove for the ATA. Tom was very proud to say, he drove over six million accident free miles over his years of working.

He was a member of the New York Teamster Union. He was an avid animal lover, and a fan of NASCAR, he attended Dover and Pocono Races to cheer his favorite driver, Jeff Gordon. 

Surviving in addition to his wife Debby of 50 years, are two sons, Thomas (Michele Barber) Perry, of Rew, and Jason (Brandi Eliason) Perry, of Bradford, and two grandchildren, Matthew and Lauren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother James Perry Sr.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue, where at 11:00 am a celebration of Life will be held with Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, retired Presbyterian minister, officiating.
