Erica A. Runyan

Erica A. Runyan, 79, of 312 Pine Run Road, Lewis Run, passed away, Monday, July 8, 2024, in her home, with her loving family by her side. 

Born April 28, 1945, in Rudolstadt, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Wanda Izbinski and Joseph Wolfe.

Erica worked for 34 years in various capacities at Case Cutlery, she retired as Assistant Plant Manager. She owned and operated the Tacks Inn Produce Stand for many years, she also made all the home cooked specialty items at Tack's Inn such as perogies, fried tomatoes, Coleslaw, potato salad, and daily homemade pies for many years. 

She and Jim were avid Buffalo Bills fan and longtime season ticket holders during the glory years, and she also enjoyed following Nascar, especially Polish drivers, Alan Kulwicki, and Brad Kezlowski. For several years she was President and CEO of the Bank of Poland in Timbuck. 
 
Surviving are two sons, Robert W. (Staci) Sunafrank, of Stoney Beach, MD, and Edward A. Sunafrank, of Bradford, five grandchildren, Logan (John) Obermyer, Derek Sunafrank, Hunter Sunafrank, Trenton Sunafrank, and Gavin Sunafrank, two sister-in-laws, Melissa Gae Colligan, Susan Drnach, one brother-in-law William G. Runyan, and several nieces and nephews.

Erica was preceded in death by her first husband, William Sunafrank who died August 1, 1988, and her second husband, James P. Runyan, who passed away on February 7, 2010. 

Family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Avenue. A private graveside service will be held for the family with Fr. Jim Gutting, of St. Bernard Church. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Friends of Erica's are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday July 13, 2024, from Noon to 2:00 pm at Tack's Inn.
