Gary E. Miller

Gary E. Miller, Sr., 77, of 1222 East Main Street, Bradford, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the Bradford Manor.

Born on August 4, 1946, in Kane, he was a son of the late Frank J. Miller and Phyllis J. (Stoddard) Miller. He was a 1964 graduate of Smethport High School.

On July 15, 1964, he enlisted into the United States Navy and remained in service for three and a half years, serving as an E4, before being honorably discharged on August 3, 1967. 

On November 29, 1969, in Bradford, Gary married Linda (Cramer) Miller, who passed away on August 16, 2016.

After the service, he worked for 31 years at Georgia Pacific as a Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician. He was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, and the DAV Chapter 72.

Surviving are two daughters, Amber Smith, of Bradford, and Cheri Lockwood-Clark, of Bradford, one son, Gary (Mary Jo) Miller Jr., of Bradford, one sister, Judy Miller, of Ormsby, one brother, Stanley (Lisa) Miller, of  OH, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, father in-law Fred Cramer, and two nieces and one nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda, one son David Eric Miller and one grandson Andrew James Miller.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am in The Abundant Life Church where at 11:00 am funeral services will be held with Rev. Ronald Spencer officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
