Robert A. Curcio

Robert A. Curcio, 71, of 21 Kloss Lane, Bradford, passed away surrounded by his wife, and loving family, on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Bradford Manor. 

Born on November 12, 1953, in Bradford, he was a son of the late John "Buster" and Ruth (Williams) Curcio. He was a 1972 graduate of Bradford High School.

On June 11, 1988, he married Constance L. (Smith) Curcio, who survives.

Bob worked at Dresser Manufacturing of a number of years and later attended University of Pittsburgh and Mercyhurst College and received his Act 120 certification to become a Police Officer. He became a police officer at Foster Township Police. In 1989, he became the Chief of the Corydon Township Police Department, he later worked as a Corrections Officer at Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary. He returned to the area and became the Chief Police at the Lewis Run Police Department. He was also involved with the McKean County Drug Task Force. 

Bob enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, boating, and spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife Connie of 36 years, are three sons, Keith (Melissa) Cohan, of NC, Steven (Dawn) Walb, of FL, and Kevin (Stacy) Walb, of MS, and one daughter, Rhonda  Shinabarger, of VA, one sister, Cindy M. Curcio, of Titusville, nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Judith Baker, Betsy James, Patty Bliss, and two brothers, David Curcio and Larry Curcio.

Friends will be invited to attend a celebration of Bob's life at a later date to be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.
