Jerry P. Schwab

Jerry P. Schwab, 80, of 287 Minard Run Road, Bradford, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born July 7, 1944, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Joseph and Opal (Nuhfer) Schwab. He was a 1962 graduate of Otto Eldred High School.

On October 9, 1965, he married Linda C. (Mesler) Schwab, who preceded him in death on June 16, 2021.

Jerry had been employed at Zippo Manufacturing Company prior to his retirement. After he retired, he was a delivery man for Ott & McHenry Pharmacy.

Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

Surviving is one son, Michael (Sherry) Schwab, of Bradford,  three grandsons, Matthew (Sarah) Schwab, Joshua (Chelsea) Schwab, and Jared (Katherine) Schwab, all of Bradford, two great grandchildren, Madison, and Kaylie, one sister, Patty (the late Ralph) Whitman, of Rixford, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda of 56 years, three sisters, Jane Bennett, Mary Stannard, and Sandra Pascarella, and four brothers, Ron, Tom, Bill and John Schwab.

Friends will be received on Friday December 6, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, 372 East Main Street, at 1:00 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Max Simms, Pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in McKean Memorial Park.
