Rose V. Stewart

Rose Veronica Stewart 99, formerly of 61 Linwood Avenue Bradford, passed away, Wednesday December 4, 2024, at the Pavilion at BRMC.

Born October 5, 1925, in Olean NY, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Amelia (Zimbardi) Pessia. 

On November 6, 1966, in Bradford, she married Dean S. Stewart, who preceded her in death on January 7, 2024.

She attended St. Bernard Church and formerly cleaned homes for area families.
 
Surviving are two daughters, Janet (Robert) Nearing, of Ocala FL, and Wanda (Bob) Nortum, of Bradford, three grandchildren, Eric (Barbara) Nearing, Cyndi (Stafford) Townsend, Vicky (Randy) Haight, David Couch and Aimee McClintick, four great grandchildren, Kyle Nearing, Matthew Nearing, Sara Townsend and Sydney Townsend, two great-great-grandchildren, Amelia Nearing abd Emmett Nearing, one sister, Ann Margaret Mecanko, of Lanham, MD.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Willie South, her second husband Dean Stewart, and several sisters and brothers.

There are no services planned at this time. Entombment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
