Danny E. Fox

Danny E. Fox, 81, of 286 School Street Rixford, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born August 9, 1943, in Olean, NY, he was a son of the late Clyde Thomas and Dorothy Maxine (Schwab) Fox. Danny was a 1961 graduate of Otto Eldred High School.

On February 21, 1964, in the Bradford EUB Church, he married Patricia Lee (Krafton) Fox who survives.

He worked at Speer Electronics and Quaker State Refinery as a gauger.

Danny was a lifetime member of Rixford EUB Church. In his younger years he was an avid hunter. He belonged to an ATV club and enjoyed going for rides in the area. He also loved playing softball for the Old Timers softball league and was one of the original members of the Little Nippers.  He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. Danny was a kind and loving husband and father.

Surviving in addition to his wife Pat, of 60 years are two daughters, Lisa (Larry) McCool of Bradford and Jill (Todd Weaver) Hoch of Smethport, one son, Scott (Linda) Fox of Harrisburg, NC; two sisters, Sue (the late Albert) Bennett of Duke Center, Diane (Michael) Dixon of Syracuse, NY; five grandchildren, Matthew McCool, Kyle McCool, Megan McCool, Hailey Hoch, Jacob Hoch, two great grandchildren, Karley McCool, Kinsley McCool and several nieces and nephews.  
 
Friends will be invited to a Celebration of Life in the Spring to be announced at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the EUB Church in Rixford or to the donor's choice.
