Patricia A. Mott, 92, a former longtime resident of Lewis Run, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at UPMC Cole.
Born December 25, 1932, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Isabelle (Brown) Battles.
Pat attended Derrick City schools and graduated in 1952 from Bradford High School.
Pat was a stay at home mother until her children were raised then worked as a home health care aide for the Simonds family for over 25 years. Her greatest joy in life was caring for her family, grandchildren, and all children in general.
Surviving is one son, Terry (Sharon) Mott, of Bradford, three daughters, Georgia (the late Roger) Grover, of Smethport, Karen (Leo) Mott, of Bradford, and Kim (Bill) Young, of Gifford, eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, one sister, Betty (Stanley) Whitney, of Bradford, one brother, Forrest Battles, of Smethport, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Frances Patrick, and two brothers, Harold "Skip" Battles, and George Battles.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Pat's Life on Saturday January 25, 2025 at the Smethport Fire Department at 109 South Nelson Street, Smethport, beginning at 1:00 pm.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
