Patricia E. Causer

Patricia E. Causer, 94, of 200 St. Francis Drive, Bradford, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born on August 4, 1930, in Olean NY, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Marie (McGavisk) Cooney. She was a 1948 graduate of Smethport High School.

On August 13, 1949, she married Norman W. Causer, who passed away on February 25, 2006.

Pat resided in Coleville for many years and attended St. Elizabeth Church until 2004.  She moved to Bradford in 2004 and was a member of St. Bernard Church. She enjoyed restoring furniture and excelled at baking.

Surviving is one son, Steven Causer, of DuBois, one sister in-law, Marylin Causer, of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, John "Jack" (Colleen) Cooney, two sister-in-law’s, Lucille (Spurgeon) Witherow and Jean "Teny " (Wesley) Coast, and one brother-in-law, Dale Causer.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Bernard Church with Rev John Jacquel as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Smethport.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
