Donna M. Newpher, 83, of South Avenue, Bradford, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born April 6, 1941, in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Helen L. (Nellis) Russell. She was a 1960 graduate of Bradford High School.

On October 25, 1980, in Bradford, she married Larry Daniel Newpher, who died May 7, 1995. Together they shared Trixie, Spunky, and Toby, their beloved dogs.

Donna was employed at Bell Telephone Company as an operator, and for 23 years as a Patient Care Sitter for the American Red Cross.

She was a member of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, and participated in Mission programs. Family and church was the highlight of her life.

Surviving is one stepson, Art (Debi) Newpher, two brothers, Wayne (the late Sandy) Russell, and Bruce (Sandra) Russell, eight nieces and nephews, Laura (Michael), Bruce, Julie (Donald), Steven (Erin), Sean (Farissa), Tanya, Melissa (David), Kristen, and 13 grand nieces and nephews.

Family will be receiveds on Saturday February 22, 2025, from 1 pm to 2 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Avenue, where at 2 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Jay Tennies, Pastor of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church officiating.
