Betty J. Craig, 86, of W. Washington St., Bradford, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born September 15, 1938, in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of the late Parker Wesley and Pearl Isabelle (Finney) Reed.
Betty was a 1956 graduate of Bradford Area High School. She graduated from BOCES in 2003, with a computer degree.
She was a member of VFW, Italian Club, and the Eagles.
Betty's greatest joys in life were the times she spent with her family. She cherished every moment with her daughters, grandchildren, sister, nieces, nephews and friends. She had a lot of fun over the years following her grandchildren’s sporting events, formals, and supporting all of their accomplishments. Her fondest memories were spent with family, vacations, and celebrating her 80th birthday at the beach. Her love, kindness, and laughter will forever be remembered by those who were lucky enough to share her warmth. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
Surviving are three daughters, Renee (Brian) Dolan of York, Kelly-Jo Remington of Half Moon Bay, CA, Karen (Scott) Ordiway of Bradford, one sister, Norlene Yehl of Canandaigua, NY, three grandchildren, Greg Buckner Jr, Alix Ordiway, and Dani Ordiway, one great grandson, Greg Buckner III, several nieces and nephews.
