Ted M. Haag, Sr.

Theodore M. "Ted" Haag, Sr., 87, formerly of Bolivar Drive, Bradford, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Bradford Manor.

Born January 27, 1938, in Olean, NY, he was a son of the late James P. and Beula (Johnson) Haag, Sr. Ted grew up in Derrick City and attended Bradford schools.

On April 2, 1965, in Bradford, he married Mabel L. (Keller) Haag, who preceded him in death on July 1, 2008. 

He was employed at Bovard & Seyfang, later working in maintenance at the Bradford Hospital. He was employed at Top Line Process Equipment Company, and later as a caretaker for Tom Bromley's property. 

Ted was a former member of the Derrick City Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed scrapping steel and chopping firewood in his free time. 

Surviving is one daughter, Bea M. (Ed) Rodgers, one son, Ted M. (Paula) Haag, Jr., both of Bradford, a sister Jan (Jim) Barnoff, seven grandchildren: Joshua A. Hurd, Sarah M. Hurd, Joshua R. Rodgers, Devin M. Rodgers, Sabrena L. Cuneo, Devon M. Schoonover, and Maurissa M. Hagga, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and two sisters.

Family will receive friends on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 4 to 6 PM at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main St., followed by funeral services at 6 pm with Fr. Edward Walk, Senior Associate of St. Bernard Church officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.
