Thomas D. Fox

Thomas Duane Fox, 84, of Duke Center, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at his residence. 

Born in Olean, NY on August 1, 1941, he was a son of the late Paul and Helen (Asel) Fox.  

He was a 1960 graduate of Otto Eldred High School.

January 23, 1960, in East End Presbyterian Church he married Alice Jane (Siffrinn) Fox who survives.

Tom worked for over 40 years for Olean Lumber until his retirement in 2003.
He loved to ride snowmobiles and ATVs.  He was a member of the Enchanted Mountain Snowmobile Club and Traction ATV Club. Tom was also a member of Duke Center Masonic Star Lodge 55 F&AM, Otto Township Lions Club and the Little Nippers Booster Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 66 years, Jane, is one daughter, Janice (Chris) Holly, of Duke Center, two sons, Guy (Kira) Fox, of Syracuse, NY, and Jeff (Tina Turek) Fox, of Rixford, one brother, William Fox, of Olean, NY, six grandchildren, Brody Fox,  Ben (Allisyn) Fox, Tasha Fox, Tyler Turek, Korrie Turek, and Kia Turek, three great grandchildren, Henry Fox, Ellie Fox and  Ethan Fox,  one niece Paula (Scott) Derwick and one nephew, Bill (Sue) Fox.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law Sondra Fox. 

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main Street, where at 1:00 pm funeral services will be held with, Rev. Rick Price, Pastor, Church of Christ, officiating.  Burial will be in Mckean Memorial Park. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice
