Christine T. Mangione

Christine T. Mangione, 85, of Bradford, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, at The Pavilion at BRMC. 

Born on February 7, 1941, in Buffalo, NY, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Stephanie 'Sally' (Sokolowski) Szewczyk. 

On May 11, 1973, in Buffalo, NY, she married Joseph R. Mangoine Jr. who preceded her in death on April 28, 2026.

She was happiest being a homemaker and spending time with her family. Christine loved the holidays, dressing up for halloween, and was known to be an amazing cook. She also loved to play cards, going to the casino, yahtzee, bowling, and traveling. 

Christine is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Donald) Smith, of Bradford, Charlene Mangione, of Bradford, two sons Christopher Mangione, of Bradford and Dilon Luksch, of Bradford, Christine is also survived by a brother, James (Audrey) Szewczyk, of North Tonawanda, NY, two grandchildren, Danielle (Doug) Fargo, and Tyler (Ray Yankey) Smith, and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Joe of 53 years.

Family will receive friends from Noon to 2 PM on  Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Avenue, followed by funeral services at 2 PM with Rev. John Jacquel, pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 4261 1600 Peninsula Drive Suite 15, Erie, PA, 16505, or a charity of the donor's choice.
